AUTOMOTIVE MECHANICS
(AUM)
The mission of the Automotive Mechanics Program is to
prepare students for successful employment or advancement as
automotive technicians. The
Automotive Mechanics Program is a NATEF certified program that prepares students to diagnose mechanical problems
and to make repairs to all components of the automobile.
The program involves
attending on-campus classroom and laboratory sessions while participating in
cooperative work experiences in the automotive industry. This program consists
of one AOT degree option, one certificate, and one short certificate.
