Ford MLR
Maintenance and Light Repair Training
Ford Certified Training in;
Electrical, Brakes, Steering &
Suspension, and
Air Conditioning
The Alabama Center for
Automotive Excellence at Lawson State Community College’s
Bessemer Campus, will be offering an MLR program beginning
in the Summer of 2008.
Completion of the MLR program will lead to Ford
certification in the areas of Electrical (34), Climate
Control (35), Brakes (38), and Suspension (33) upon
graduation.
Completion of this program, coupled with ASE certification
in Electrical, Brakes, Steering & Suspension and Air
Conditioning will meet all of the Ford Motor Company
requirements for "Chassis Master Technician".
The class will meet one
week each month, from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday, for 6 months. Class size
will be limited to a maximum of 12 students. The cost of the program will
be $1195.00 per student and covers all materials.
